A women-driven contract sewing and hand-craft social enterprise.

We are an innovative social enterprise that provides domestic contract manufacturing sewing services to wholesale and retail companies. We specialize in sewn soft goods and hand-crafted products that demand high-touch precision and artisan attention to detail. Our investment in creating jobs with dignity translates to a motivated staff that is eager to help our clients succeed. Our goal is creating long-term, productive partnerships with our clients.

We do not offer product development services, although we will make suggestions for best production methods during the bidding process. Our bidding process begins with clients providing a production ready sample. We create a bid which includes labor, cut, sew, thread, and shipping cartons. Additional labeling and packaging information is supplied by the client and is then included in the bidding process. From our first conversation to production we determine capacity, creating and approving a bid, clients drop ship production patterns, materials, labels, etc. to us. Once all materials are in-house we can plan production and we do our best to accommodate delivery deadlines and always meet agreed upon delivery dates. We follow the industry standard of 3% defect rate. We are very diligent about quality control and rarely have problems. Sending production samples for approval is essential to ensure that product is as client anticipates. Problems occur when production samples differ from production patterns. The client must sign off on production samples before production process begins. If there is training involved in a specific craft skill for a product, client must provide either video or visit or facility to ensure that we are making items as client intended. We offer assistance in coming up with most efficient production process that might involve changing a pattern or design. This must be approved by client before starting production.

We include thread and packaging in our bids. Clients provide a production ready prototype, graded patterns, and sourced materials and trims.

Our cut + sew shop is experienced in handling a wide range of light to mid-weight fabrics, providing a variety of finishes. We offer CMT service, marker making for best material utilization. The depth of our industry experience ensures high-quality consistency at reasonable rates. We have minimum requirements but it depends on the product. A basic guideline is a minimum of 250 pieces per item, which can include 3 colorways for cut and sew. For kitting and jewelry assembly, it depends on the amount of training that our staff needs to do for the specific project.
