The patch place

Joycrest, Inc. was founded in September of 1979 by Joyce Stanley. Mrs. Stanley served as a Troop Leader for a Girl Scout Troop in Southern California. She wanted to make special event patches for her Troop, but the factory required a "loom run" of 220 patches. She bought the loom run quantity and offered the extra patches for sale to the other Troop Leaders in her area. The response was overwhelming and hence a small family business was born.

Since her name was "Joyce" and she made "Crests", the name JOYCREST was a perfect moniker.
