A Montana family-owned business, Roundwood West Corporation (RWC), is known for competitively priced, quality doweled roundwood. In 1974, David and Jan Guelff bought a Morbark peeler and started Nine Mile Posts and Rails west of Missoula, Montana.

In 1989, the postyard was relocated to Seeley Lake, Montana and became Roundwood West. Ten years later, daughter Karen and husband Kalvin Kovatch joined the business.
