Non-crimp fabrics for the composite industry

The SAERTEX success story began in 1982 in the Westphalian town of Saerbeck, Germany. The head office in Saerbeck still remains the heart and soul of the company. Multiaxial fabrics made of glass, carbon and aramid fibres are manufactured here over an area of approximately 41.000 m². On January 1, 2001, SAERTEX USA began producing multiaxial fabrics. In Huntersville, close to the American commercial centre of Charlotte, North Carolina, a factory was constructed and has in the meantime expanded to occupy an area that extends to well over 10,000m².
