Custom fabricator of on-metallic washers and gaskets

Started in 1929 by Charles and Ed Jacobson, Standard Washer & Mat, Inc. was housed in the Adams Mill ragpicker house in Manchester, Connecticut. The company was originally involved in making leather knife and hammer handles and door mats. The company's unique, interchangeable tooling system was created by the Jacobson's and is still being used!
Today Standard Washer & Mat has grown to focus on non-metallic washers and gaskets.
