A quintessential "factory girl," Alexandra cut her teeth in the NYC fashion industry managing sample rooms for several top designers, and spending months abroad in southern China developing accessories. Today, she runs her eponymous home decor and accessory company from her own 4,000 sq ft factory in Brooklyn, where she has not only finessed the art of standing over a sewer's shoulder, but also has learned to wear every other hat involved in running a company from sales & marketing to HR and cash flow management. Today, she sells her brand to over 500 retailers around the world and has been featured in dozens of publications including the NY Times, Vanity Fair, Cosmo, Glamour, House Beautiful, and the Today show. She is a regular speaker at entrepreneurial seminars, and offers private consulting and product development services for new designers looking to break into the market.
