Individually hand painted/silkscreened apparel

In the mid-1970s, Southern California native Dennis Maroney set up a t-shirt booth on the world famous Venice, CA Boardwalk, and began to airbrush one-of-a-kind t-shirts for the tourists and other beachgoers. Shortly thereafter, the demand for Dennis' airbrushed tees increased, and he realized that he needed more space and a better facility in which to work, so he moved his operation to an artist loft in Downtown Los Angeles.

Soon Dennis was taking orders for large quantities of hand-airbrushed tees, so he found it necessary to hire additional artists to handle the volume, and L.A. Air Line¬ was born.... (more)
