In 1964, our founder, Jorge Saavedra came to the United States from his native Colombia. As an avid cyclist he recognized the need for an American made, high quality cycling cap. More importantly he wanted to make a cap that could be customized. He made caps for shops, teams and races in small numbers and delivered most of them personally. However, things really took off when Jorge began making caps for Campagnolo.
