I have been building things for nearly
three decades, first as a carpenter
and home builder, and for the last
15 years as a furnituremaker.
My pursuit of the craft has taken me
to Anderson Ranch in Colorado and
the Oregon School of the Arts &
Crafts in Portland. I spent a year in
England completing a course on
traditional furnituremaking in the
Department of Fine Craftsmanship
and Design at Rycotewood College
in Thame, England.
I produce a mixture of speculative,
commissioned and liturgical work,
and strive to produce furniture that
is simple, nuanced, and enduring.
