Take Scalamandre's iconic prancing zebras with you wherever you go!

In the 1940s, Scalamandre was asked to create a signature wallpaper for Gino of Capri, a new Italian restaurant on New York's upper east side, owned by a friend of Franco and Flora Scalamandre. Based on Flora's original artwork, with a nod to the swanky safari themes that were popular at hte time, the wallpaper (we added the fabric in 2011) remains one of Scalamandre's most beloved patterns.
