It all started in 1980 as a novel concept: offer small runs of custom-printed napkins to the specialty advertising industry. Until then, only large quantities had been available. In a 2,000 square foot building, Founder Jim Tranter, MAS, thus conceived The 500 Line. Armed with his vision, two employees and a single-page sales sheet, he provided the opportunity for end-users all around the United States to order as few as 500 pieces for the first time.
