Weaving text and unique patterns into webbing

In 1978 Tom Johnson purchased the first loom to weave multicolor luggage security straps sold through mail order catalogs. Prior to this, his father and founder, Edwin, had established a successful niche selling his patented Kelvoc Fastener which they sewed or riveted to webbing as military tie-downs and banding straps for the ceramics industry.
Tom Johnson, following in his fatherÕs foot steps, created the WOV-IN¨ Line by developing various ground-breaking methods for weaving text and unique patterns into webbing.
