If you are a NYC fashion designer who is determined to master running a fashion business, then apply to Design for Entrepreneurs NYC! Design Entrepreneurs NYC is great opportunity to learn the skills needed to successfully run a fashion label including marketing, operations and financial management. Created by the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), in partnership with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), the program is a targeted effort to support emerging talent in order to grow the city as a hub of fashion design.

Design Entrepreneurs NYC is a free, intensive “mini-MBA” program for emerging designers. The program is taught by industry experts, and each participant writes and/or refines a business plan. Participants who successfully complete the program with have the opportunity to present their plans and receive feedback from a panel of influential fashion leaders! This a great opportunity for designers looking to take their fashion business to the next level.  The deadline to apply is March 31, 2013.
