Production Advice From An NYC Apparel Factory and Brand

Last week on Maker’s Row Live, we had the double threat Caryn Hsu from Hemsmith share on fashion, entrepreneurship, and manufacturing. Hsu not only manages Hemsmith, an apparel factory run by Hsu’s family for over three decades, but also owns a high-end clothing brand under the same name. She gave us some great advice from her unique two-sided perspective. Topics like working with a factory, starting a brand, working with her family, and more were covered.

Caryn’s experiences made for a really educational and interesting episode. You can watch the full interview on our Facebook. Here are some of our favorite pieces of advice that Caryn gave!
